I finally get a chance to play with my birthday presents, after 8 weeks off work just feeling like crap and unable to do anything.

So the first thing I did was check how the DVR in my new FatSharks worked. To my surprise the answer is "really well". Aside from getting ground audio they perform as well as the standalone DVR, and I don't have the weight of them hanging off the strap at the back of my head.
