A revolver designed to be used as a game asset. I did this awhile back, this revolver was done to understand more on cube maps and how they work. I learnt how to control where the cube maps would be applied and control how strong the intensity of the reflections. If you want to know what cube maps are, they are textures that allow the look of reflection of an environment. This gives the illusion of a reflective surface look, like the ones you find in polished objects. Why do games use this method? It is to reduce the amount of processing power needed. I used fraps to record and used Xnormal to do a real time render.
