Black and white bowling game by Midway, with a trakball and a button that allows you to utilize a hook (only to the left) or just roll it straight. You also get to choose between a regulation game or Flash game-- this gives you tons of extra points for spares and strikes, especially if you can roll the ball over the marker that moves left to right. Beer frames are in the 5th and 10th frames (I always remember it being the 7th frame in league bowling), and are meant to stick the bowler with the lowest scoring first ball with the tab for all the other bowlers' beer! NOTE: I did not have the sound samples for this game as they are unavailable in MAME; I instead used sounds from Capcom Bowling and got them pretty close in sync to the action. I remember this quite well from my early gaming days at Malibu Gran Prix in my neighborhood. Pretty fun; the whole family got into it! With the keyboard the game is a total snap if you can find the "sweet spot". Getting more than 3 strikes garners a name not recognized in real bowling: 4 is "Hey Hey" (as opposed to a 4-bagger) and 5 or more is "Holy Cow" (as opposed to a 5-bagger, 6-bagger, etc.). If I ever come across the true samples for this I'll reupload this video someday. The multiplayer mode is only alternating turns, not simultaneous.
