For comparison, drawing spells feels on DS (or 3DS) much more natural, instead of clicking buttons on a ps3 controller. Game is also turn based, which is much better. Lots of game areas were cut out from the ps3 edition but the ps3 version has its charms as well, bigger screen and nice witch area.


The fan translation took a team of fans 4 years, which was kept track of on a social media website called gbatemp. In the end most of the team suffered from burnout, and while the magic master has some typos the project will not see any updates in the foreseeable future, it's as good as it gets.
