133Dark Souls III is an Action RPG developed by FromSoftware, one of the most renowned developers today and is the creator of such genre in gaming. It is a direct sequel from Dark Souls II and is the final chapter of the critically acclaimed Dark Souls Trilogy. In here, the setting revolves around the Ashen One, an Undead who failed to become a lord of Cinder called an Unkindled, whom is tasked to link the fading flames by returning the defiant lords of Cinder to their rightful thrones in the Firelink Shrine. Like all it previous titles, this journey will be a difficult battle of continuous life and death.
One of the best games of 2016 in which it obtained an average of 88.33 based on scores on the platforms it was released and an average of 89 from the PS4. It also garnered multiple gaming awards from company which gives them and most notable is its 12 GOTY awards or #1 nomination on the lists of various gaming journalist and/or media company. The praise was focused on how it gives the worthy ending and send-off which the acclaimed franchise deserves, the strict and difficult gameplay, the bosses in the game which is considered the main strength of the series as well as the diversity of its enemies as a whole, the mysterious beauty of its environment as well as its mysterious storyline. However, criticisms were focused on its bad pacing and its linearity compared to the first Dark Souls, its inconsistent frame rates and resolution and some technical issues and bugs which affects the experience in the game.
