5 Steps for installing Car Carpet - Garage Tips by Aussie Garage
15Check out this Garage Tips by @AussieGarage for installation of car carpet into your Classic Cars, Muscle Cars or your Daily Drivers for the best result without ruining a brand new piece of car carpet. Aussie Garage will show the best way to make you life easier.
Step 1- First make sure the car carpet is push all the way to front of cab.
Step 2 - fold the back of the carpet over the shift and ensure the front has not moved.
Step 3 - Cut the carpet straight up about half the length of the Shift. By the time you unfold the car carpet it should be the same length of the shifter. If you need a bit more room, cut a few inch cut across the straight up cut.
Step 4 - Fold back over the shifter and make sure the front is still push to the front of the cab fully.
Step 5 - Ensure you have enough room around the shifter for switches if you have a B&M shifter or similar.
