NOTE = BEFORE RAGING AT MY SO-CALLED "SELF-INSERT" (Rob Iwae), PLEASE READ:
1) I needed a character that would tell all the epilogue sequences as a voice over
2) I quickly understood that the only way would be to voice him myself
3) I didn't want this voice to be some kind of Deus ex Machina, but a real character (though made up eventually)
4) I then thought creating a politician would be a great idea, that could show that after the Old Council (Udina & co), we could have hope for the future
- That's why everything around Rob Iwae (every single line he says) is supposed to bring more exposition to what happened after the War and how much he's involved
5) And then, AND ONLY THEN, when it came to give him a face, I thought… "hell, why not make him look like me, that'd be fun!"
So to those who thought I built this 1h13 ending just so I could insert myself in it… chill out! No megalomaniac conspiracy here! ;-)
