This is pretty maligned as the worst world in the game, at least from friends who played it. Someone told me they would've outright dropped the game if they weren't playing it to help. Dang.

I'm not unhappy with 6-1 per se - I was glad to have another slow level with an earthy feel after how many movement gimmicks were in 5-2 and 5-3, and I'm proud of how the music, visuals and stage elements came out. The darkness in the cave sections was actually something I added only a few weeks before launch, I just wanted something else to visually spruce up the area. And I really like the climb at the end of the level with the giant parallax clouds.
