Spending the holiday season with your family can be grating. Many across the globe, then, will be turning to videogames to escape the arguments around the dinner table and the Queen’s Speech. But, if you still want to enjoy the festivity, why not get some Christmas mods installed in some of your favourite games? The OG modded game is DOOM. There are probably millions of mods for DOOM and DOOM 2, and a surprising amount of them are Christmas mods. All of these DOOM WAD levels, as they’re called, work if you use GZDoom, which is an enhanced port of DOOM that lets you make it look all shiny on modern hardware.
