6 Song Sketches
0These are 6 song sketches that I made between June and December 2018.
Sketch 1 - This was made after I spent time learning a bit about music theory, so I took what I learned and applied it to this short sketch, mostly down to the chord progression. This is a Genesis FM-only song sketch.
Sketch 2 - Same as above, except this one is incomplete, and will likely not be completed. This is a PC Engine song sketch with square waves only.
Sketch 3 - This was mostly made to test a drum loop I made in OpenMPT (which was going to be used for a Genesis track, but I ended up scrapping it). Clock rate is 72Hz to make sure they play seamlessly. This is a PC Engine song sketch.
Sketch 4 - Originally intended to be a full song, this ended up being abandoned since I was caught up in other things. Unlike Sketch 3, this one uses waveform+noise for percussion. This is a PC Engine song sketch.
Sketch 5 - I ended up using part of this for the main channel's trailer (https://youtu.be/ddLrvmCPCgs), so here's the full song. This is a Yamaha YM2151 song sketch.
Sketch 6 - Like Sketch 4, this was also going to be a full song, but I didn't know which direction to take the song, so I ended up looping it. This is a Genesis Ext. Ch 3 song sketch.
