Playing jeet kune do practitioner Sarah Bryant in Kumite mode of Virtua Fighter 4 on PS2!

I found Sarah's brother Jacky surprisingly tricky to use ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa061A9SDmk ) and I similarly had some trouble with Sarah--although I think I was under the mistaken impression here that Sarah didn't have the whole "initiating move" gameplay layer that Jacky has, where moves become more effective if you do a certain move or two before them; but looking up her move list finally later (in VF5), I was reminded that once she goes into her standing-on-one-leg stance (eh back+punch+kick or something), she can (and I *think* this was in VF4 too?) then hit all three buttons to do a hop skip dance thingy, like Jacky, and then fire off very quickly into other, very fast moves.

I felt the whole time like I was kind of lacking something and I guess it might have been that--although it's just as well since I'm terrible at using sequences like that effectively. : o Anyway, didn't find the super fun part of playing Sarah in VF4, dar.
