8996 ER Large Laser are insanely hot but also insanely dangerous. The 66 point alpha strike drills through armor like it is paper. However, you need a Mech that can load enough heat sinks to make this build viable.
The Supernova is the best candidate for that. It has the energy hardpoints to load the Lasers and the weight to take enough heat sinks for cooling.
