Welcome to my Basic Modding Tutorial series for 7 Days To Die. In this series I will be showing you how to mod the game, file by file I will be going into what you can change and how you can change it.
In today's tutorial I will be telling you how you should go about getting started. Before you even mod the game, there are a few things you need to know and a few things you should definitely get into the habit of.
*** REMEMBER TO MAKE BACK UPS OF YOUR FILES! ***
Also, should you happen to break your game, go to your Steam Library, right click 7 Days To Die, click properties and go to the Local Files tab. Then click "Verify Integrity of game cache..."
