Welcome to my Basic Modding Tutorial series for 7 Days To Die. In this series I will be showing you how to mod the game, file by file I will be going into what you can change and how you can change it.
In today's tutorial I will be teaching you how to change the properties of certain blocks to act like other blocks. More specifically in this tutorial we will be making Ovens work as Campfires. It's extremely handy when you first start out to take over a prefab and cook yourself some murky water in a tin!
*** REMEMBER TO MAKE BACK UPS OF YOUR FILES! ***
Also, should you happen to break your game, go to your Steam Library, right click 7 Days To Die, click properties and go to the Local Files tab. Then click "Verify Integrity of game cache..."
