Killing bosses is awesome. Killing players is awesome.
Being forced to do one when you'd rather be doing the other, is not awesome.
The sin of Wrath in MMO design is about causing anger or annayoance within the playerbase, and I find nothing more annoying in any MMO than when you're forced by the game to take part in required group content with a group you don't know, or forced to take part in PVP when you don't want to.
