305So, it all began 50,000 years before the current setting, during the 8th Millennium BC. The place was ancient Anatolia, which is modern day turkey. By this time humanity, as the last alleged creations of the Old ones had evolved to a point where a few of them have started to develop connections to the warp, the first psykers.
So, In a humble Neolithic settlement nestled in Anatolia, a child was born to ordinary parents, surrounded by the simplicity of herders and farmers, he had a family, siblings and neighbours. Little did they know, this child carried within him the destiny of mankind.
as a wanderer and a silent guardian he became, witnessing the rise of empires, of innovation and the growth of humanity. For thirty-eight thousand years, the man who would become the Emperor roamed the Earth, observing and aiding humanity's progress. For not one of the wisest of men over the countless generations could forsee what he would become, neither would they have any idea about his origins and the fact that he was a perpetual or his nature for that matter.
As a witness he was there when humanity first made their initial strides towards the skies, when humans colonized the moon, the sol system and beyond. All this time he was also growing with wisdom, strength and psychih power.
He would begin with the creation of the custodes and calling in his perpetuals by his side, with Malcador being his right hand man. He would begin to create a template for a galaxy spanning empire. This would start with the reunification wars on terra and the subsequent alliance with mars and the other planets within the star system. The emperor by this time has started to reveal his true greatness, not just by claiming his lost sons, the primarchs from different star systems but also by leading the Great crusade.
So, this was a transient stage of his life, that could have had universal ending effects, he almost became what the eldar prophesized in their harlequin's dance of the end and the death - The Dark King, the fifth chaos god of ruin.
– During the final stages of the siege of terra, the emperor and horus fought in the vengeful spirit, with horus being obliterated and the emperor being mortally wounded, which led to him being put on the golden throne as a makeshift life support system. Now, even as his imperial truth was spread amongst the stars, the atheistic belief system, it gradually became ironic that he was worshipped himself as a deity by quadrillions of people across the Imperium. Their prayers feeding and giving life to the corpse on the golden throne just as much as the 1000 psykers that are sacrificed each day to keep him alive and light up the astronomican.
The Ascended Star Child is the last stage of the god-emperor’s life. This is still but a theory for the master of mankind in his conviction to defeat horus and save the Imperium, detached a part of himself that cared and empathize, the part of his soul called the star child. For over 11,000 years, it has been in the warp while he, as a corpse interned on the golden throne had been growing with psychic power beyong anyone’s comprehension.
