Hey! In this video @OliverMKP and I will cover how to set up and use ACE to make shiny hunting and catching the trainer's Pokémon possible in English versions of Pokémon Gold and Silver (English only). Once set up, the code randomises the Pokémon DVs and allows you to catch them by switching the 2 first items in your bag. Make sure to always put the TM17 back in the first place after catching the Pokémon. I recommend KOing at least Rocky, and possibly Quagsire too for the hunt. To hunt a trainer's Pokémon, simply save in front of the desired trainer, use the TM17 and start the battle. The effect of the code lasts until the game is reset so you'll have to use it again every time you reset the game. If you have any question or any issue, let me know in the comments or on Discord!
