I think this was the first horror game I ever got for the PC! Fun to mess around with, even though I'm absolute rubbish at pinball. This is the standalone version from the Collection Chamber (excellent site), rather than my old CD. So this is what Sierra was doing when they weren't cranking out adventure games.
I thought I had VoiceMeter setup so that only I could hear text to speech, following last week's disastrous troll attacks. When I changed scenes, however, chat was able to hear the TTS. The same troll, who had apparently been waiting around, started making the text to speech say horrible, violent racist things. I apologize for that. He was promptly banned, and a friend in chat helped me out by modding. I won't use TTS again until I'm positive only I can hear it, and I probably need to get a regular mod.
The rest of the stream went all right, at least. Highlights include streamer making up a dumb verse about a giant octopus, the goofy voice acting, streamer repeatedly watching helpless as his pinball rolls into "the void," as we christen it, and discussion of a kid-friendly adaptation of Le Fanu's "Green Tea." -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/purblindgamer
