Man, it's been too long since I played a FPS-styled anything: this is what I would say is the perspective-genre that really hooked me into games in general. To have it in a roguelike form is pretty awesome. That said, unfortunately the tactics are lacking due to the surprisingly easy method of fighting enemies, but I really like the style! (Controls for swinging are also iffy, but as I noticed after recording, that's the point of the different control modes. I think ideally they should just go on, say, the mouse wheel or easy buttons like R/F or Z/C.)
I probably say it too much, but I really hope the developer decides to expand upon the game over time. It really has a nice take on the genre!
