Wish I had something to put here for this one! I can totally see what the developer was coming from, if anything it could be that the format of these videos doesn't make this game very entertaining. However, concept aside, a lot of the general interface isn't polished, so it brings down the core mechanic of programming your way through areas. Hacker roguelikes could be great: it might be the best place to even make a game out of programming. But I'd say the design still needs a little work before it's ready for that niche.
Thing that may be unintentional but I think is a great way to incorporate the hacking: keypresses take time. Gotta make those actions have consequences, yo!
