As you'd expect, I look at Steve's moves, and think "Damn, what will Lucas do about that?" He seems pretty solid, but it is hard to judge, because I need to see him in action. It's hard to see the big picture, particularly in terms of understanding how he'll play neutral, and understanding what moves he'll primarily use. He seems like his edgeguarding will be toxic, he'll have a ton of low percent combos, but maybe his disadvantage will be horrible? I mean, he can use the blocks to recover, but if someone is really aggressive and has range or BOMBards him with strong projectiles, what will he do? Will hit and run be the optimal strat for him? Or perhaps getting cheesy gimps offstage? Who knows?

All things considered, he looks pretty fun, and he is a good representation of what Minecraft has to offer. The devs always find a way to incorporate so many aspects of the source material, despite it being technically cumbersome, and that is amazing. They could've done the bare minimum and called it a day, but nope. They keep setting the bar higher and higher in terms of what is possible, so they have my respect. Although, it kinda make you feel bad for characters like... Little Mac or others. Like, DLC characters very often can do really cool things in terms of complex attacks or attacks with special conditions, and then there are all of these older characters with movesets that evolved very little from when the games were incredibly simple. RIP
