I think it's been nearly six months since I uploaded a Sacrifice match ?
It's really scary how fast the time flys these days !
This is a "Sacrifice Tourney" match played on "Blood Covenant" last night.
Team RED: Berjj, Nghtcrawler74, carryoncleo, PB Shoxx
Team BLUE: odima, Lezyes, Andrew Clarence, TigerBLUE

I mainly play CTF but Sacrifice is a great mode as well !
In this "Sacrifice Tourney" variant, each team is restricted to a single champ of each type (you make your selection for the match before the game starts and cannot then change that decision). There is also more of a delay on weapon spawns and on champion respawns when compared to standard TDM or CTF for example. I think a "CTF Tourney mode" might be in the works, it will be interesting to check that out if/when it comes.

In this match I play as Ranger, a champion I'm trying to use more lately both in CTF and other modes...I definitely need practice but this champ is a LOT of fun and very versatile ! You have an edge in close range rocket fights because you have increased resistance to self-inflicted rocket damage meaning you can generally get away with blasting your enemy at very close range without too much fear of hurting yourself. This ability also encourages you to use "Rocket Jumping" to get around the map faster and also surprise your enemies because again, you can take the self-inflicted damage a lot more than other champions. Ranger's active ability is the "dire orb" which has a variety of uses...great for chasing down enemy Flag (or Soul) carriers, great for causing a distraction or to surprise your enemy, great for getting to a certain point on the map quickly (eg. Quad) and great for causing some extra burst damage (if you're quick and accurate enough). I've found orbing directly on/into an enemy FC to make a defence to be one of the most satisfying things in the game ! :-)

This match was one of several Sacrifice Tourney's played last night, I enjoyed it a lot ! Hopefully it's a good watch :-)
