I had a great first half in this one ! Loads of great rails/defences and fights !
Team RED: STE2k, tevemadar, JUN1US, RonnieRailgun
Team BLUE: tmp chl, kungfu2240, xM34, TigerBLUE

Sadly things didn't go quite to plan in the final quarter ;-)

At around the 12:00 mark the score was 3-2 and Team RED sent all four players into the centre of the map ensuring that JUN1US got protection...JUN1US was then not only able to secure a flag retrieval which lead to 3-3 but got an additional super fast CAP immediately after for 3-4.

At this point Team BLUE were in big trouble and another super fast run from JUN1US took me by surprise...by the time I'd heard him (let alone saw him) he was already "all over me" and all I could do was try to block him...which I did but that compromised my position and he easily dispatched me with rockets...and off he was again without interception for 3-5. To add insult to injury I then found myself in an enticing opportunity to get the mega on my way back for a CAP but once again JUN1US swept in, grabbed the flag and I became an easy target for his rockets at mega and it was 3-6. We did recoup one cap to finish 4-6 but that was small concilation ;-)

I think the moral of the story is Team BLUE desperately needed two permanent base defenders in the 2nd half, it's far too easy for a super fast/maneuverable and skillful runner like JUN1US to overwhelm a single defender on this half of the map...and once away he can generally keep that speed/maneuverability up for the 8-10s he needs to get home making interception nearly impossible (so if the enemy flag is not taken in those few seconds it will be a CAP !).

I use a half-sized keyboard when I play (love the key action and the small size means I don't constantly bash my mouse against it as I always did with my full size keyboard/number pad) but it means aside from a couple of small macros like ":)" and "n1" I can't type anything to my team in game...I think I need to setup a macro that says "Need help on defence !" or something for these sorts of occasions :-)
