This is a collection of 14 bugs in the original, first Metroid. I haven't figured out what the point of this game is yet. The game, however, is extremely repetetive in design and it's very large for area of coverage compared to other NES games. However, there are a lot of bugs that I'm aware of in this game.... This video spans 16.3 minutes and is thus split into 2 segments.
In this segment, I cover a password I've known for about 15 years (the two friends I watched play FF6 were the source). This password is needed in order to access an area I otherwise can't get to, but is needed to explain one of the bugs. 8 bugs follow:
1. (class 1) Enemy + lava = flash, bomb + lava = no flash
2. (class 3) Ball and immediate opposite direction of facing = wrong way
3. (class 1) Hold B + direction change = extra shot
4. (class 2) End ball in mid-air - can jump in mid-air
5. (class 1) Enemy can be hit if just off screen - odd
6. (class 5) Up through ceiling - appears on bottom (can make it impossible to return without dying)
7. (class 1) Enemy or bomb hit = greater gravity/speed
8. (class 2) Random discoloration - texture colors are randomly modified
