A Critical Thought on F2P vs. P2W
3For today's critical thought, I turned to the ever popular debate: F2P vs. P2W. Looking at my previous post as a reference, I talked about my thoughts on the matter. While there are some obvious tells, a lot of F2P games skirt that line between the two with different uses of mechanics.
An important part of this is how the game values time and money differently for the user. Games like Team Fortress 2 has a great combination of the two, while other games tend to focus on one or the other.
