A Critical Thought on Realistic-Fiction
Today's post looks at how any creative medium handles "grounding" their situation with rules and the law of the land. Realistic-Fiction can be applied to any medium and is a good sign that the writer/designer thought about how their story would play out.
Many games struggle with balancing the lore and the mechanics together, with examples like Final Fantasy. And yet, there are cases where the gameplay should supersede realism in order to make the game more engaging.
