A Critical Thought on Scaling Game Systems
Today's Critical Thought is about the use of scaling when it comes to game design. This is a topic way too big for one video, so we focused on player-based scaling and mechanic scaling. With players, you need to scale your game based on the number of people who are playing to keep things fair.
With mechanic scaling, we talked about the progression model of games and the balance of making sure that the player is keeping up with the game and vice versa.
