A Dell Optiplex GX1 for the collection
Yeap a nice example of an original Dell Optiplex GX1. Since filming this video earlier tonight I've been working on it and done a few bits.
It's now been dusted out and stipped apart and put back togther. The Floppy drive was not working and it turns out it had had some post-it notes stuck into it. It's had a quick RAM bump from the 64MB to 192MB. I've changed the fan orientation around as it was sucking air away from the heattsink on the side. It's now blowing air over it. I've used a floppy drive head cleaner.
Currently having the hard drive formatted and getting a fresh install of Windows95 C. I'll be getting the drivers off of the Dell site.
Probably going to add a further 4MB of SGRAM for the onboard ATi 3D Rage pro Turbo AGP2x, might change the RAM down to 96MB and I could add a VooDoo or VooDoo2 card to the system.
