So my Mega PC's are down from the attic for the moment as I am going to test a few things for them and such. Now neither of mine have batteries installed anymore, nor do either have the original hard drive.
Today I was using Mega PC 2 (my second bought unit) and forgot I had added a hard drive to it. It's a 90MB drive. I made sure it was working alright and then decided to try an ISA based IDE interface card. It worked once, then it halted loading Windows and after that it didn't want to know. However I hadn't adjusted the settings on the ISA card from when I last sued it. So if the onboard floppy and IDE are naff make sure you disable any of the serial and parallel ports on your add-on card, I believe that is why mine went screwy.
