I won a Cannon FS100 E of ebay for less than £20, kind of as a replacement for the Sony HandyCAM DCR-SR62 which I ended up killing for now whilst trying to fix it. Spare parts are a pain to find cheaply.

Anyway got this, bought a replacement PSU which arrived today as well, so I was able to test it, it need a good lens clean and replacement viewscreen and a battery. Records SD video to an SD or SDHC card, kind of handy as I have 3 or 4 8GB ones.

Because of the screen damage I couldn't tell if I was recording or not :P I didn't look to see if there were any bliking lights, I suppose I should have done, so thats why they are in two parts. Hopefully this upload will be fine as it records natively to .MOD format. I am uploading both raw files for maximum picture. No doubt I have to use the software cannon wants to get an .MPG or .VTS stream.
