Britain’s last airworthy Cold War Vulcan bomber has begun preparations for its final season flying this summer, after the decision to ground the aircraft at the end of the year. The charity trust which operates the aircraft claims no amount of finance can save the distinctive delta-winged bomber from decommissioning.
