Hello YT gang! I'm come back to break my cycle of no YT releases with a video that is very much a video that you can avoid! Or don't! Either way I was recording some matches cause I was looking to have fun with my best friend and thought this match would make for a good viewing experience. I also decided to share some thoughts about Dead By Daylight as the game has been an important part of my gaming life, and social life for the past 8 years or so, and my passion for playing the game and making content for it is starting to dwindle. Is this going to be the last Dead by Daylight video I ever make? The answer is maybe, maybe not. I think this video serves as a good look into how I typically play the game, and my thoughts around it are my way of giving appreciation to the game and the people that have taken the time to watch my poor excuse for videos. It really does mean a lot to have people who decide to take time out of their day to watch content that I make. I hope this match is as enjoyable to watch as it was for me to both experience and watch back. Hopefully there will be more videos from me in the future, but only time will tell where I'm going to end up. Below is a more in depth response to how DBD has shaped my life and the creative direction for this channel:

To provide more context for how important DBD is, there is no DBFCTM without Dead By Daylight. I wouldn't have had the courage or the passion to make gaming related videos like I do without my time with this game. When I transitioned away from using a notebook laptop, being granted the privilege to actually play the game the way it was intended to be played, I decided to start making videos about the game to show just how much the game mattered to me. My videos hold a special place in my heart, each one involves me trying to experiment with something, trying to showcase myself or my friends, or trying to show that the game's I play are really fucking cool. Hardly any of my videos are as special to me as the first DBD videos I did that made up what I called The Locomotive Trilogy. It was the foundation for what would end up being a really weird and fucked up catalog of videos that I would end up making, the blueprint for what I know to be a good video. I still remember the kind words and reception I received when I decided to share my videos with my friends, and their overwhelming support is the reason I still make videos today, not just to satisfy my creative demons. Without Dead By Daylight, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet such great, and sometimes terrible people from all walks of life, from various corners of the earth. Without Dead by Daylight I wouldn't have had the courage to break away from my shell and find it within myself to establish a true relationship with my online friends by shedding an alias and having people refer to me by my real name. Without Dead by Daylight, the gamer inside of me might truly have died a long time ago, and I am forever grateful that I still have an immense and burning passion for video games because of this game. No one is going to see this, especially not the developers, but in the off chance that they do I have something to say to them.

BHVR, thank you for letting the young boy inside of me who sought to escape the hard times in his life grow through your game, and navigate the world one trial at a time. This game will always have a place in my heart, but I believe I'm finally ready to say goodbye to this game and its equal parts great and terrible playerbase that I've come to love over these many years. You may not be the best developers in the world, or have the best record of patches to your name, but you gave me a place to call home, and I am forever grateful. I think I can finally step through the fog now, and find my own path the way I see fit. Thank you!
