A HUGE WEEK FOR VR! Quest Pro LEAK, PSVR 2 hands on, NEW VR mods & MORE // VR NEWS
563It's been a CRAZY week for VR fans and things really feel like they're heating up as we approach the tail end of 2022, in just one week we've seen: A leaked Project Cambria, now confirmed to be called Quest Pro, unboxing! PSVR 2 hands on impressions from across the internet! A PSVR 2 backwards compatible controversy! AND a new PICO Neo 4 headset could be on it's way! Not to mention the fact that you might soon be able to play any game in VR thanks to an upcoming VR mod which looks set to change the landscape of VR modding as we know it.
Competition is starting to emerge within the VR headset market and it feels like the unchallenged reign of the Quest 2 could be coming to an end shortly, or at the very least shaken a little by a host of exciting new VR headsets. The PSVR 2 is shaping up to be an exceptionally strong VR gaming headset with the star power of Sony and it's high quality IPs from both first and third party developers. At the same time PICO is determined to face off against Meta in the standalone VR headset market as they gear up to announce their next iteration of the Neo series (the PICO Neo 4) at an upcoming event this week. No matter what headset or new VR games you're looking forward to over the next few months it's safe to say that things feel exciting right now for all fans of VR and we're in for a busy end to 2022 and an exciting start to 2023...
