To begin with, the 'Koopa Rap' series of tracks was originally composed with the intention to be featured on the 'Infernal Bout' FNF mod as the 'Super Mario Bros. Super Show's' 'BAD RAP' inspired track.
Things happened and they ended up sticking with 'Rapland', but I still took the time to finish the track I wanted to make back then at a later date.
The track samples the intro song from the 'The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3' series in Portuguese, and makes reference to melodies featured throughout the intro and outro of the series. The reason I sampled the Portuguese version is as simple as it being the version I grew up with. The track replicates the drumbeat featured during the entire episode of 'Super Show's' 'BAD RAP', and also uses the main melody of the track 'Time to Run', featured in the 'Super Mario World' series on the episode 'King Scoopa Koopa', titled as 'A Lanchonete do Koopa' in the Portuguese dub.
The track also borrows from the main melody of 'Bowser Jr.'s Mad' from Mario Party 9, and, last but not least, there is a melodic reference to 'Rapland' as well! Like, the actual song from the Infernal Bout mod…
I ended up naming the track like this because of the new scenario I envisioned this track for, as I had already abandoned the original purpose of the song, which was for the 'Infernal Bout' mod, midway through its composition.
