A LITTLE EXPLORING | God Of War Playthrough - Part 9
Hey everybody! Welcome back to my God Of War playthrough, the chest that was giving me so much trouble in the last one was finally got and this sparks a little exploring quest. Now that I am done in Alfheim we get on the boat and head back the way we came but first I got to explore what I thought looked like and beach to the side of where we came in and I was right. Before we get there Atreus has a little meltdown saying Kratos doesn't care about his mother death and it leads to a nice little moment and some understanding between them. Lots of treasures and enemies here which equals lots of leveling up and fun! I check the opposite side and find another beach with more treasure and puzzles but it also has one of those portals with strong enemies. This time the enemies aren't too strong for me though and I manage to take them both out to get a reward. With everything I can see in hand we head back down the river and reach the realm room to head back to Midgard. In Midgard I decide to keep on doing a little exploring instead of the main quest and start heading to the islands again. I want to do the quest Sindri asked me to do so I head out towards Fafnir's Ravine to get into the storeroom and hopefully get the whetstone without too many issues. Along the way we also find the last piece of the cipher to help us read another language. Not a lot of progress was made towards the story in this one but exploring is so much fun!
His vengeance against the gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same. As mentor and protector to a son determined to earn his respect, Kratos is faced with an unexpected opportunity to master the rage that has long defined him. Questioning the dark lineage he’s passed on to his son, he hopes to make amends for the shortcomings of his past. Set within the untamed forests, mountains, and realms of Norse lore, God of War features a distinctly new setting with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods.
