THE DARK ELF KING | God Of War Playthrough - Part 8
Hey everybody! Welcome back to my God Of War playthrough, after being pulled out of the light by Atreus we have what we came for and need to get out of here. I put the light on his bow strong which gives us light arrows allowing us to create light bridges from the crystals. We start heading back through Alfheim to get back to Midgard. We end up back at the door that wasn't a door but now we are able to open it once we carve the answer to the riddle in the sand. As soon as it opens all the light elves start pouring back in to get things back to the way they were. Outside the door I talk to Sindri and he tells us about some treasure back in Midgard that he wants us to get for him. Once I finish looking around we head back down into the trench we created but once we get in the ceiling closes restoring the lake but making it very dark down here. As we travel through we get to the far side the dark elf king, or as he is actually called Svartáljǫfurr, makes his final appearance and grabs Kratos which was a huge mistake. It is an interesting fight but as always Kratos comes out on top but as we deliver the final blow he uses his last breath to say we made a grave mistake. Kratos isn't too concerned but he does bring up how he said he didn't want to get involved in this. Atreus has been in a terrible mood this whole episode and we end off with him mocking Kratos. The relationship is tense once again but I am sure things will get better between them!
His vengeance against the gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same. As mentor and protector to a son determined to earn his respect, Kratos is faced with an unexpected opportunity to master the rage that has long defined him. Questioning the dark lineage he’s passed on to his son, he hopes to make amends for the shortcomings of his past. Set within the untamed forests, mountains, and realms of Norse lore, God of War features a distinctly new setting with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods.
