Before there was Marvel Strike Force, there was a Marvel, hero collector game on Facebook and on game developer Playdom's website called Marvel Avengers Alliance. Although it doesn't have the higher animation value of Marvel Strike Force, Marvel Avengers Alliance had much better game play.

In this video, we look at a project to recreate the long defunct Marvel Avengers Alliance, now in the Unity engine instead of Flash. With release 5.0.1, the team still has a long way to go, and many bugs to fix, but for testing purposes, the game is pretty playable and no remote server required!
