Creating great bass lines is an art form in itself but often get's over shadowed by fancy soloing or slap licks and therefore get's completely over looked by many bass players. I can't stress enough - this is a HUGE mistake!
Knowing how to create great bass lines and grooves is the bread and butter of every bass player. If you don't have this side of your playing happening, the gigs will never come. Period.
