A MAZE. 2021 / Berlin - Open Screens: Please, Touch The Artwork
4A project for people who like touching stuff they shouldn't.
It explores the question:
What would happen if we did touch the artwork??
It bundles 2 art-installations and 4 games playable on mobile or on these installations.
Each game is based on a unique abstract painting.
The game-genres range from calm but compelling puzzles and narrative adventures to visual-poetry & creating your own art.
It aims to be aesthetic, inspiring and educational while strengthening the bridge between art and games. 'Please, Touch The Artwork', where every painting has it's story.

This is our 10th edition! We hope you will join us to celebrate it in all its glory. 82 sessions, with more than 70 artists - talks, panels, and workshops all streamed here on Youtube and in the A MAZE. / SPACE. The A MAZE. / SPACE features an amazing game exhibition with all nominees and honorable mentions including special designed exhibits and the A MAZE. Village.
With a full festival pass you get better performance with a downloadable A MAZE. / SPACE (for windows and mac), ability to vote on and play all the exhibited works and the ability to interact with the other flamingoes including special effects and voice-chat in designated areas.
