A new way of making music is emerging in virtual reality - connecting sophisticated musical and visual inventions as a series of connected pipes and full-body interactions. Working in the in-development platform Patch.XR, a selection of multimedia artists from around the world have been imagining new musical instruments and audiovisual performance environments in an intensive, one-week laboratory. These are their results, debuting for the first time.
Creative technologist and journalist Peter Kirn (CDM.link), a facilitator for the lab, hosts their final presentations.


An expert jury led by Patch.XR advisor Muki Kulhan (SxSW, IBC, MTV, BBC) will announce awards and special mentions.
