A-Maze-Ing Emergency Exit - Super Mario 64 Walkthrough
1Hazy Maze Cave: Star #5
Go back down into the Maze and turn left before the blue coin block. Just after the Monty Mole there is another door in an alcove up high. Following this path leads to the star that can be reached by either jumping and grabbing the bars above by holding the A button or by long jumping directly to the platform with the star on it. I recommend long jumping because you're likely to fall off if you take the metal bars.
