Hi everyone! Here I have a full 45 minute piano lesson which is pretty much just like watching a master class. All of the details, highlights are just below. I hope you enjoy it!

38 – Loosening up the fingers - Scales - F Major, A Harmonic Minor, C Chromatic and C contrary motion.
45 – Making scales to be played nice and evenly between both of the hands.
42 – Always praising and complementing the student when they are doing something really, really well.
58 – Helping with tone, not making it too harsh.

25 – Slowing down the tempo to make a better even sound.
00 – Making great progress and then slightly increasing the scale’s tempo.
35 – Adam heard the wrong scale, Ay I heard G Major, that’s not C Major.
09 – Fun Song – Summer by Joe Hisaishi.

53 - Always writing down notes to know exactly how to help the student.
47 – Applause! Always praising and complementing the student first, then helping them.
55 – General comments for the performance.
37 – Bringing out the melody more in the right hand.

35 – Always praising and complementing the student when they are doing something really, really well.
13 – Making sure the note is being held for its full length by slowing the tempo down and establishing a new muscle memory.
20 – Adding in dynamics – piano.
50 – Helping to play specific volumes in certain sections.

43 – New music term – Rubato - allowing the notes to sound much more expressive, holding the tempo back.
35 – Sending an email instead of writing notes in the student’s diary.
50 – Adding in dynamics – mezzo piano.
57 – Bringing out the melody more in the left hand.

15 – Always praising and complementing the student when they are do something really, really well!
05 – A trick! - Start softer than you are supposed to which makes the following notes much more noticeable in dynamic change.
50 – Changing the range as the notes were played an octave too high.
21 – Omitting a note, an additional note was accidentally played.

58 – Music games! – Last week was identifying pictures, today we did definitions.
