A Progression of My First Year on YouTube | Developing My Editing Style 2020-2021 | Milestone
0I never recorded an intro or outro for this video because I didn't want to take away what it is, a progression of my channel, my art, my creativity. People just see these as dumb, goofy videos that I post online, but to me it's so much more. I barely knew how to edit anything when I first started posting consistently a year ago. It was a huge reason why I delayed creating a YouTube channel in the first place. And like many other creators have said, I wish I did it sooner.
But nonetheless, I am proud that I have kept up with this channel and posted for a whole year. What "consistent" meant to me when I started posting and what it means to me now, is two totally different things. I have adapted my posting schedule to fit the needs of my life and creativity. To me, editing my videos is a process, something that typically cannot be done in a couple hours or even a couple days. To me, this is my art.
