DM Notes: Aside from Marlia, Lilly also had a manipulative dragon in her backstory. I had originally decided it was a shapeshifting white dragon, but I later found out that chromatic dragons can't shapeshift in 5th edition while all metallic dragons can. So I decided to solve this plot hole by saying that the dragon in question was actually a silver dragon and Lilly had made a mistake since she was panicking, it was snowy, and she wasn't aware that metallic dragons were a thing at the time. This also gave me a chance to demonstrate that even things like dragons don't have guaranteed alignments in my setting.
