A (slightly long) dive into different video export techniques looking at cpu, quicksync and nvenc!
I've seen a lot of arguments on "how much cpu do I need for video editing" and "what gpu do I need" and thought I'd spend some time talking about our process (we use the fantastic shotcut editor) as well as a quick look at some different hardware I had on hand and some of the variables that come into play.
All 5 systems used were using the latest version of windows 10, shotcut version 20.9.27 as well as the same storage devices (the carbon x https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtbmRi5rANU and hyper-x drives we've used for various things previously)
