A Survival Horror Inspired By The Old Classics | THE MUTE HOUSE demo
1Hello everyone! This is another demo of an upcoming game. This is THE MUTE HOUSE, another survival horror inspired by the old classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill (I have been trying quite a bunch of these lately). This one has a bit of everything, an intriguing story, some puzzles, some action and a lot of exploration. Graphics were nice, but the small rooms were really pushing my gpu and loading screens were taking too long. Action was a bit meh for me; I wasted lot of time the first time trying to aim accurately, but I didn't have to. Also, the vials/explosives were not working, or I just never understood how to throw them. Finally, I feel like some details are too hidden because of the camera angles (some enemies are hard to spot the first time, some doors were hard to find and some interactions hard to get), and I wasted so much because I knew THAT short story was a puzzle, but never had any idea about where I was supposed to use it, so I think there were missing indications. Finally, storages are not connected, so it didn't really feel comfortable to use them.
I still think survival horror fans would really like this, for me it was taking too long to do everything, so, even when I enjoyed the atmosphere and the story, I wasn't too much into the gameplay.
