Explore And Fight Your Way Through This Boomer Shooter With Metroidvania Elements | Exophobia demo
1Hello everyone! Another demo here. This is Exophobia, a boomer shooter that also has the metroidvania tag... I am not really sure how much of a metroidvania this is going to be (for me the backtracking and exploration seemed pretty default for boomer shooters), but let's leave it like that for now. This game is closer to the classic doom than other boomer shooters, with no verticality at all, and just aiming to the sides. I am also not really sure if I should call it a boomer shooter, considering I wasn't shooting too many projectiles and wasn't as fast-paced as some I have played, but I am using the tags I saw in steam.
Honestly, not my kind of game, I enjoyed Mala Petaka more than this. Shield enemies were annoying and the boss a bit of a pain for a first boss. What do you think?
