A thin uniform wire \( A B \) of length \( 1 \mathrm{~m} \), an unknown resistance \( X \) and a resistance of \( 12 \Omega \) are connected by thick conducting strips, as shown in the following figure.
A battery and a galvanometer (with a sliding jockey connected to it) are also available. Connections are to be made to measure the unknown resistance \( X \) using the principle of Wheatstone's bridge. For a balanced Wheatstone's bridge as shown in the following figure, we have
\[
\frac{P}{Q}=\frac{R}{S}
\]
The galvanometer has
(A) Positive terminal marked on it
(B) Negative terminal marked on it
(C) Both \( A \) and \( B \)
(D) None of these
