A Very Windy Day at Dollywood! + Apparently There was a Coaster Event (Dollywood Vlog 3/26/22)
9As you can tell from the noise permeating throughout the video, it was a very very windy day in East Tennessee on March 26th, 2022! This was my first full day of the 2022 season, and I enjoyed a somewhat relaxing day by myself, taking the park at my own pace. Despite Wild Eagle being closed nearly the entire day due to the high winds atop its hill, I had a fun day on all the other attractions, including a 5-ride Thunderhead marathon and 6 rides on Lighting Rod. Oh, and I rode all the kiddie rides in Wildwood Grove. Hey, why not! I hope you come along for the journey!
Dollywood is a theme park located in Pigeon Forge, TN, about an hour outside of Knoxville, and right at the foothills of the Smokey Mountains.
It's accessible by car but costs a pretty penny for parking ($25), or the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Trolleys, which drop you off right at the entrance and can save you some money if staying in the area due to the low $2.50 fare compared to the parking price.
