Finally Riding Copperhead Strike and Finding Taylor from Coaster Studios! (Carowinds 10/16/21 Vlog)
2All the way back on October 16th, 2021, I took a day trip over to Carowinds for the first time since 2018! I got to explore the new-for-2019 Blue Ridge Junction, take my first ride on Copperhead Strike (their newest Mack Rides multi-launch coaster), as well as eat at Blue Ridge Country Kitchen! After covering this area when it was announced, it was super cool to finally be able to experience it myself! Additionally, I complete randomly ran into Taylor, Sarah, and two of their friends from Coaster Studios! I had been wanting to meet them for years, so it was pretty surreal for us to happen to be in the same place at the same time.
Overall though, it was a mixed day. I had a lot of fun rereading Fury 325 and being at this awesome park again, but the extreme crowds and short operating hours meant I wasn't able to get many rides in. Hopefully I will be able to return this year, and will have a better experience!
